6th – 20th June – All films have English subtitles
Hola!
The London Spanish Film Festival is about to kick off.
The Festival’s program will showcase some of the best recent films, such as Félix Viscarret’s Bajo las estrellas and Antonio Muñoz de Mesa’s Amigos de Jesús, shorts and documentaries coming from Spain. There will also be presentations and round table discussions with Spanish directors and actors. This year the festival will also pay homage to the grand old man of Spanish cinema: Fernando Fernán Gómez, who died last year. This homage will include the documentary-conversation La silla de Fernando, by David Trueba and Luis Alegre and a few of his several films as actor and as director.
