St. Patricks Festival

13th – 17th March, 2008

Hello All,

One of the biggest Irish celebrations, all around the world, kicks off this March. From the 13th – 17th March it’s a time to celebrate all things Irish! All over the globe there’s parties, parades and the odd pint of green beer!

St. Patrick’s Festival is Ireland’s official celebration for our national holiday – St. Patrick’s Day. Ireland is the place to be during this time, as we know how to celebrate in style.

The BIG party in Ireland lasts about five days and nights. Lots of fantastic events, most of which are free!

From March 13th to 17th there is so much going on – music, street theatre, family carnivals, comedy, street performances, dance, a treasure hunt, night spectacles …. and of course the famous St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Monday 17th . Over five days, 4000 performers and 1 million people will be celebrating Ireland.

Enjoy!
