Decir y Hablar
Decir y hablar son palabras de uso cotidiano y normalmente no decimos otra cosa que decir o hablar
Sin embargo tanto decir como hablar se traducen a dos palabras de uso cotidiano en ingles.
Decir se traduce a tell y say
Hablar se traduce a speak y talk
Cuando formamos frases con decir, solemos añadir me/te/os/le/les/se lo al final mas un complemento que empieza con la preposición “a”
Ejemplos de frases formadas con Decir son:
- Dime a mi a que hora llega el tren
- Quiero decirte a ti que el avión sale a las doce
- Puedo deciros a vosotros que os vendrá a recoger un coche
- Necesito decirle al jefe que hoy debo asistir a una reunión
- Me gustaría decirles a ellos que se alineen para hacer cola
- Esto es importante, debes decirse lo a ellos
En ingles tell y say no llevan pronombre. Tell tampoco lleva preposición, pero say lleva una: to. Ni tell ni say se usan con with
Las frases anteriores se traducen a
- Tell me what time does the train arrives
- I want to tell you that the flight is at twelve
- I can tell you that a car will pick you up
- I need to tell my boss that I have to assist a meeting
- I’d like to tell them to align themselves to queue
- This is important, you must tell them
En las frases anteriores puedes sustituir tell por say to:
- Say to me what time does the train arrives
- I want to say to you that the flight is at twelve
- I can say to you that a car will pick you up
- I need to say to my boss that I have to assist a meeting
- I’d like to say to them to align themselves to queue
- This is important, you must say it to them
Hablar puede complementarse como decir, con me/te/os/le/les/se lo y “a” al final, pero también puede usarse con con sin más.
Por ejemplo,
- Háblame a mí de tu viaje e Paris
- Quiero hablarte a ti sobre el mercado bursátil
- Puedo hablaros a vosotros por el altavoz
- Necesito hablarle al jefe sobre este informe
- Me gustaría hablarles a ellos en ingles
- Esto es importante, debo hablaros a vosotros con franqueza
Y usando con:
- Habla conmigo de tu viaje e Paris
- Quiero hablar contigo sobre el mercado bursátil
- Puedo hablar con vosotros por el altavoz
- Necesito hablar con el jefe sobre este informe
- Me gustaría hablar con ellos en ingles
- Esto es importante, debo hablar con vosotros con franqueza
En ingles, a parte de que hablar puede traducirse a speak y talk, estas palabras a su vez pueden complementarse con to o with. Las frases anteriores se traducen así:
- Speak to me about your trip to Paris
- I want to Speak to you about the financial market
- I can speak to you through the speaker
- I need to speak to the boss about this report
- I’d like to speak to them in English
- This is important; I must speak to you frankly
Con speak with:
- Speak with me about your trip to Paris
- I want to Speak with you about the financial market
- I can speak with you through the speaker
- I need to speak with the boss about this report
- I’d like to speak with them in English
- This is important; I must speak with you frankly
Con talk to y talk with, tampoco cambiamos nada.
- Talk to me about your trip to Paris
- I want to talk to you about the financial market
- I can talk to you through the speaker
- I need to talk to the boss about this report
- I’d like to talk to them in English
- This is important; I must talk to you frankly

Siempre van bien las aclaraciones sobre detalles gramaticales para apreder idiomas, gracias a los métodos simplificados de hoy en dia no tenemos que estudiar interminables normas gramaticales y, la verdad, es mucho más fácil y rápido aprender.
